What was your inspiration?
The wings were the inspiration for this piece. They needed a large focal pendant hanging from them, and I have wire wrapped other pieces before. I used several gemstone stars purchased on the Internet plus wing beads and Swarovski crystals to wrap the Agate.
What are you most proud of?
I love how it hangs around the neck - it took a lot to get the wings and the agate to hang right. I ended up using four jump rings to make a triangle shaped support.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Think outside the box - the wings weren't originally meant for a pendant, but I thought they just screamed out to have one. Don't ignore those feelings and ideas!
