Divide your strips up first. You can use a bali pop, or jelly roll. To get more looks for your hearts cut the strips into 2 pieces.Difficulty:

Materials
I used Bali Batiks for the front, with 100% black cotton for the background squares. The batting is cotton, and the backing is 100% cotton. I also used varigated thread for satin stitching.
What was your inspiration?
I love to find ways to use Bali Pops, and I like hearts.
What are you most proud of?
This is my favorite quilt, I love the vibrant colours with the black background.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I have seen this done in many colour combos, from black white and red, to a cream background and fall colours. All are fantastic, just choose colours that you like.
