What was your inspiration?
I had an old poncho I knit several years ago that I loved - although it wasn't that stylish any more. So, I re-used the yarn to knit something I'd wear more often - a vest.
I like being able to remake problem garments into something useful!

The cute cables!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Keep in mind that a bulky yarn means you should size up this vest.
