What was your inspiration?
The couple were Aboriginal and wanted their cake to represent their culture. The two music sticks in the top are one for each couple and can only be played together. I also hand painted the glasses. The Rainbow Serpents are their totems...
What are you most proud of?
This was my first wedding cake and the couple were very happy with their wedding cake. I am a Koori artist and representing the colours they wanted into dot work was worth the time.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
The dot work takes a while to do so patience is the main factor.
