Instructions
I used 2 bandanas for the skirt and added a wrap-around band at the bottom & my favorite pleated pockets. The top is made with a single bandana. I added an appliqued peace sign to complete the 70's look.Difficulty:

What was your inspiration?
This year's ABBA tribute concert at The Melody Tent. Izzie only gave me 3 days notice that she needed a retro outfit...........and that she wanted one for her girlfriend, as well. So it had to be fast, easy & cheap. I had some tie dyed bandanas and thought of them right away. These 2 piece outfits fit the bill and were very comfortable for the girl's to wear.
What are you most proud of?
That I came through, again. They were very appropriate for the concert and the girl's loved them. Izzie was very happy to give one to JoJo. And they looked adorable in them.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Make sure you pre-shrink your bandanas and square them up. Shake them out when taking them out of the washer & get them out of the drier right away. They are light weight so need a heavy hem. Mine wrap back on themselves so they are finished on both sides.
