Thanks, everyone :-)) By the way, I just found the sewing pattern here on craftsy as well and added the link in the materials section above. It's really a wonderful pattern and not very difficult to do!

I've made this whale too! It is a great pattern. I love yours in the corduroy and love the plays with colour in these photos.

I used a tie-dyed cotton apron (it was an unwanted student project at school that was being thrown out!). But I just got some skull-and-crossbones fleece at an op-shop and want to make one from that too! I've got a photo of my whale in my composition homework for this class too if you want to look.
