What was your inspiration?

The irregular blocks of this quilt remind me of a walk through the different garden rooms in a beautiful landscape.. This quilt is as much about a color story as it is about the design. However, the quilt will look great with multiple colors too.

Experiment with your own color combinations.

What are you most proud of?

This pattern is actually a step out of the box for me. Not only were the colors something I would not normally choose, but the irregular blocks were something I had wanted to try. I would love to try this same pattern using a combination of many 1930's fabrics. I think it would take on a totally new personality.

Thank you Linda. The turquoise and brown seems to be a color combination that is really in right now. I stepped out of my box and tried it. It certainly doesn't match anything else I've done, but I am happy with it.

You are so sweet. This really isn't that difficult. It is time consuming, but I tried to make it as easy as I could in the pattern. Just be patient. That is the key!
