The embroidery techniques all started with a Craftsy class with Eileen and then the single Irish chain was a class by Jenny Doan. It is actually strip pieced and very simple. The embroidery was what took the time. I tried to do at least 5 everyday. Since the silouettes were all one color it was simple. HSN has a great deal on the Singer 400 right now. The software is worth more than the price right now. The editing is a great feature. Thank you for sharing. I love doing that with creative people.

I really enjoyed creating this for our daughter. She will get the matching Ca. King as a Christmas Gift. It all started when I took a class with Eileen Rouche. Didn't even know how to get a download to my machine a year ago. I absolutely love learning. I get to deliver this tomorrow.

How perfect is this I found your beautiful quilt for inspiration. What a beautiful gift for your daughter. I am thinking about my next quilt project and I want to do an Irish Chain from Amy Allan`s class and I wanted to do alternating embroidered blocks in black only. I just bought my new BL Ellure II Embroidery Machine and start my dealer classes on May 15th. I have no idea how to use my machine would you recommend the class taught by Eileen. Thank you so very much for posting your quilt has become my inspiration!
