Obviously a work in progress. I'm having difficulty deciding how to do the eyelashes because free motion is so not my area of expertise. Maybe I'll go with fake ones.

You've probably finished her eyelashes by now, but a suggestion for the future....maybe use a fabric marking pencil to draw them on and then sew over it. Or perhaps a Pigma Pen to just draw them on...

This is going well - I like the addition of eyelids, it gives the portrait a realistic expression. You could always hand-sew short stitches for eyelashes if you're not confident about free motion. I have yet to start mine (waiting for the postman to deliver some supplies) and am impressed by what you've done so far! Looking forward to seeing your next pictures!
