What materials did you use? 7 skeins of Red Hearts 'Super Saver' lemon yellow yarn. Pattern calls for 10 skeins - I had 3 left over. It is in the worsted weight 4 category. The pattern is one of the free ones.

What are you most proud of? That I finished on time & mailed it off to the States (I'm in England) in time for Mother's Day!! It took me 3 weeks to do this one. It is about 51" x 69" big. This pattern had stitches that I had never done before. I practiced with some scrap yarn before I attempted to do this throw. I'm so pleased that my Mom liked it.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Be prepared for lots of counting & paying attention to details. If you miss a cluster & don't notice it for several rows - you will be tearing down rows & destroying a whole days work.

JeanneMarie, glad you can finally breathe again. :) I was reading the pattern and see that it does require checking each row before going onto the next. I'm working on a double-knit teddy bear afghan, and I do count the pattern stitches between markers on every row. This one will go to one of my granddaughters...otherwise I'd have to sell it for a $1,000. JK
