What advice would you give someone starting this project? Start, see where the pieces take you.

Looks like a great beginning. The black stripe is a little strong, however. Have you thought about something else? Keep going! Judith

These are just ideas, I appreciate your comment. Have no idea where I'm going with this, they have been laying around for some time now. Yet to be inspired.

I think the colors are too bright also. I am going to try toning this down with some more blocks.

I am wondering why you are keeping your colors separate--a band of yellow, a band of green, a band of blue, a band of brown. Do you have a wall that you could pin these blocs to so you could move them around a bit and see how they look in other color configurations? Even if you just hang a piece of craft felt over a wall using push pins that will give you something to in into. And you will see your work so much better! Try it and move those blocks around. Let me know how it goes. Thanks, Judith

I appreciate your comments. I need a design wall, I usually use the floor. I have made several other pieces that are gray, blue, and I move them around all the time. I will take more photos, these are only what I had done at the time.

Design walls help everything! and especially when it comes to seeing what the colors are doing. Have a very happy holiday and keep quilting! Judith
