What materials did you use? Medium weight cotton shirting. Ribbon for accents on front placket facing, inside cuffs and inside collar band.

What are you most proud of? With each shirt I try to change an element or two to see what I can do, but I have to say I really loved how great my tower plackets turned out. I would love to find a great tuxedo shirt pattern for men and make a couple of those for my boys!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? This is my 3rd tailored shirt I have made and each one gets a little easier and more intuitive, but always interesting. Follow all of Pam's instructions and you can't go wrong. This is one of the best classes I have taken on Craftsy.

Hi, This is another great shirt!! I really love your use of ribbons for accents, and I'm glad to know that you are finding shirt making to be easier each time. Thanks so much for your kind words about my class :-)) Pam

Your work is impeccable, I've had this class collecting dust for a couple years now, but I might be to the point in my confidence to begin this tailored shirt. Have you made more, or are you worn out of making them?

Hi Miss Cara, I love making these shirts. They are so rewarding because they are worn more frequently. I also get to sew them for my young adult children and my husband so it is so gratifying. Pam is such a through and amazing instructor that you would pick up on other sewing techniques as well. I have probably made 10 shirts since taking this class and each time I try to do something a little different as well as improve upon my techniques. Tailored shirts always are a part of Christmas and birthdays and they look so forward to receiving them. You are so creative that whatever you attempted would have your personal touch to it, and be done well. You would not be disappointed.
