What was your inspiration?
My sister-in-law's pregnancy. She asked me to do a baby quilt for the new addition to the family. Once I knew it was going to be a girl, the rest was easy.
What are you most proud of?
I'm very proud of the thread work and quilting. I never would have had to confidence if not for the classes taught by Ann Petersen and Cindy Needham.
If Ann hadn't shown how to do blocking in her Beyond Basics class, this would have been a very lumpy quilt.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Try to enjoy the quilting and don't rush it.
