Instructions

Amy had challenged us to make our own design. When I thought of sunshine I thought of flowers and hoped I could make some flowers with these hexicons.
I did three of flowers.
The first one, I used 22 of the small hexicons.
I made the background by using the slash method from the January BOM lesson. I put a wide piece of green in the center, and trimmed to right size.

What was your inspiration?

The sunshine in the name of this block was my inspiration.

What are you most proud of?

I think I have enough blocks to put together a baby quilt this week.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

The small hexicons are a little harder to work with.
Start with the medium and then get creative. It was all fun.
