Here are some details about my project:

Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: I used 100% gumpaste , floral tape, wire, Wilton rose cutter (I don't really like it but it worked) leaf cutter, veining mat for leaves, paste colors and dusting powders. The sheet cake is half chocolate and half white with all butter buttercream. The tiered cake has top 2 tiers white and bottom chocolate with buttercream as well

What are you most proud of? I've made roses quite a few times and feel pretty comfortable doing them. I never really mastered putting them on wires. After the class and using a cell board I feel I did a much better job. I also usually put the petals on one at a time. I can do all five petals at once now.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Give yourself plenty of time. You'll get faster with practice. It's really worth it to master each step as you go. Invest in a cell board if you can. It really helps with the wires.
