What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take your time and make sure to get the fit right before you cut your lovely fabric. I made 3 test garments before I got it right. Also, investing in a good couture sewing techniques book (even better - a bridal one) is a huge help and makes a massive difference in the quality and comfort of the finished garment. This is especially important for a strapless dress - you don't want it falling down all the time! Gertie's Bombshell dress course is a great place to start too!

What a lovely bride in your sweet dress. Love the blue you've added to the waist and hem.
