What was your inspiration?

I love the 4th of July... and I personally believe that every holiday needs to be celebrated by a stuffed animal! So, I found some red, white and blue yarn (sample in Ella Rae Classic) and crocheted him up!

What are you most proud of?

How innocent he looks... you never know what 'vibe' an animal is going to have until you finish them (they all have their own personalities), and I think this guy is adorable!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Plan out your colorwork in advance. I decided that I wanted each stripe to have a thickness of 2 rounds, but you could change that up!
