Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: This is the first time I made a double barrel cake. I made it with 6 layers of double chocolate cake, filled with vanilla creme. I used vanilla royal icing to cover the cake and used fondant with sugar paste for the logos, stars, letters and numbers. I also used royal icing to full and dirty ice the half football and covered it in chocolate fondant. This cake was for my granddaughter's 16the birthday. Needless to say everyone loved it, and I had great fun making it!
