Dru, thank you, it's going slow because I am rolling the spindle down my leg, next time I'll roll it up my leg. The spindle was made for the class I took by the teacher's husband. I was thinking of leaving the mohair a single ply.Do you think that is a good idea? What is the best way to set singles? Yes, my cat Mitch , knocked the spindle to the ground right after I took the picture then took off at high speed ! I think he's jealous ! Lol

hahaha!! kitties and yarn are a difficult but wonderful mix :) i love mohair singles, especially when they are all loose and fluffy. so yes, go for it, and you set it just like a 2-ply yarn! xx

Just went to the Maryland Wool Festival yesterday. bought a bag of wool right off the sheep. glad that she taught in class what to do with it. Spindling is going slow

When you immerse wool in hot water do you add soap?

I use Kookaburra wash. I like it because you don't have to rinse after you soak. Good luck.
