What materials did you use? 1930's reproduction cotton quilting fabric, cotton batting

What are you most proud of? I used the quilt-as-you-go method, which simplified the construction process. I applied almost-solid binding in the usual method, which created a crisp finish.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't let your scrap bag overflow! Use up those leftover bits of fabric to create handmade gifts or needed items for yourself. You'll feel thrifty and productive, in the tradition of previous generations of crafty women :)

Thanks for the inspiration! I'm going to do this for my adult children for Christmas! Now I have to decide whether I'll do it holiday themed, or in their family room colors!
