Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: This cake used Almond cake frosted with Vanilla Mousseline Buttercream with a brulee custard and fresh raspberries for the filling. Each tier have 4-layers of cake and double faced navy blue satin ribbon was used to decorate the bottom of each tier. Bead borders were embellished with silver dragees to match the couple's color theme. The tiers were glued together using wooden dowels and a non-traditional cake topper for a non-traditional couple.

Did you use the method that Josh taught to get the cake so smooth or did you use your own techniques

I refined his technique using mousseline buttercream and my own technique in smoothing out the cakes. I also leveled my cake using my own technique because it is adapted to my own cake recipes. I just observed that there is too much waste with the cake and I was able to optimize the use of all the cake for my small business.
