What was your inspiration?
Yoked shirt pattern is from the 1970's and I have always loved this pattern with the 'grown-up' front and back yokes. I found the pants pattern with the mock fly front and cargo pocket, and the newsboy hat pattern and immediately knew they would complete an ensemble with the shirt as the main piece.
What are you most proud of?
The shirt has a double faced yoke and french seams, the pants are made of faux suede with side pockets, mock fly front and side cargo pocket. The hat is made of faux suede and is lined with the same fabric.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Attention to detail so that th shirt is crisp and clean looking.
