What was your inspiration?
my own take on a vintage toy, adding squeaker, rattle, and crinkle to the individual peas.
What are you most proud of?
making a fun, baby safe toy pattern that retains play value for years.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
You can usually find squeakers at pet supply stores, sold as replacements for dog toys, and you can use a square of washed, dried potato chip bag or snack bag to add a crinkle sound. I have not yet found a good substitute for a craft rattle, and would love to hear your ideas!
