Do you sell this cake? No, just for fun

Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: I used the same structure that I learned to do in the tutorial except I burned a hole through the craft wood. I cut a corresponding hole in the foam core and lined up both holes with the hole in the flange, so I could put copper tubing (the kind they use in refrigerators to make ice so it's food safe) I used the copper tubing for armature to make the Cat in the Hat. It was super sturdy. I made it for a friend?s little boy. He was surprised and happy with the results. I love all my Craftsy classes but this one is the best as far as creating structure for the cake. Simple tools that most people have around and inexpensive supplies.

This is awesome, so fun! I love that you've used the techniques from my class and adapted them to your own cake designs, that's what the class is all about! Woo-hoo!!
