What was your inspiration?

The colors in the first June block I made inspired the color choices in this one. I added cording around the center square - which was not easy (!) and it slightly changed the size of the square - resulting in some size problems throughout - BUT - I'm glad I tried it and the block should still work with some "fudging".

What are you most proud of?

Trying an idea.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Adding simple black fabric instead of the piping/cording would probably have given me the same effect with lots less work and aggravation.
