I love the fabrics! I think one or two blocks with a plain solid in a few backgrounds now and again, especially those that are labor-intensive, would help show it off more. = ) I love it so far though! FYI Jay McCarroll was/is my all-time favorite PR personality! I really like his fabrics.

Thanks for the suggestion since I haven't done March's block yet. I'm having trouble with design principles. One local quilt shop had his fabricss paired with solid colors. I'll look into that. Thanks.

The fabric line is Center City by Jay McCarroll of Free Spirit for Westminster Fabrics. I realized that this quilt was going to get expensive and Craftsy had a sale on the fat quarters just in time. I plan to use it all up. It is very modern but I don't think it shows off the block construction as well. I have a question in to the class about the skewing of my fabric.

I bought that bundle myself but have yet to figure out how I'm going to use it. I just love the modern prints of the line. And Jay McCarroll was my fave on Project Runway.

This is going to be interesting to see how it turns out. Love it. Very artistic and splattery. What fabric line or just fabric are you using?
