thanks ya'll. Love the main Tonga fabric...has SOOO many beautiful colors in it. Was purposefully not using white/off white as I have dogs who will more than likely also lounge on finished quilt. But having problem figuring out what to do for a background for the hexagons...since I have no "lights"....?

glad to have found the 2012 BOM class. The online format is perfect for me...can't always go to a class with my work schedule. Not ony that, when I get to a part in the video that just "doesn't compute" I can rewind and play it over again. Really love Amy's class...even if it is a year old. I also signed up for her Sugar Block club on her blog too.
