This was the first quilt I ever started, the asterisk was the first block I made. I discovered the BOM class in September two years ago and I went to my quilt club's retreat a couple of weekends ago and spent about 24 hours total quilting this (I had already ditched all the blocks and the borders and I needed a few more hours quilting afterwards). I added extra borders to make the quilt queen-size. The binding is one strip of each of the colour fabrics in the blocks. My best feathers were the small ones on the hexi-strip block and two of my favourite blocks are the butterfly and the dresden plate flower. It's such a satisfying feeling having it finished, thank you so much Leah for the instructions for the quilting, as a novice I would have had no idea where to start on my own.

Your quilt is beautiful. Colors are so nice and your quilting is good. Wished I could have done as well for a first quilt. Keep up the good work. Your future quilts will be awesome.
