What was your inspiration?

I'd made several simple squares quilt tops in a row from my smaller scraps in different colors, but when I got looking at my box of brown and beige scraps, I asked, "Why square? Why not rectangular?" . And after making one rectangular patch top, I decided to make another in multi-colors. The quilt tops were donated to a local church group that completed the quiltsto send to world relief efforts.

i came across material that in donated scrape material which someone had started and this idea would finebut the colores dark purple,teal-lavender flower and white stripes already sewn together and into strips so I will lay out on the table and work at it.
