What was your inspiration?

My mom and I made the two-color version back in the 1980s, and I loved coordinating them with every outfit! I thought it would be fun to expand upon the them and provide instructions for 3- and 4-color versions as well.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Sometimes slide barrettes can be a little tricky to find, but you can usually find them at big box retailers in their hair accessories department. Online ribbon/clip retailers sell them as well. There are links in the e-book to help you find out where to buy them.
