Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Spindling: From Fluff to Stuff »

Difficulty:

Category: Spinning

Type of item: Accessory

For: Other

Materials

Angola fibers.

What was your inspiration?

Something I have wanted to learn and went camping in Searsport, Maine in which the campground has a fiber college from spring to September and I got a taste of how to use a drop spindle.

What are you most proud of?

That first ball of yarn, I made.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Practice spinning for 20 to 30 minutes, then put it down for and hour, then return to it. It not only gives you a break but allows you to train your mind on this new experience.
