QQI course and the colors in the charm pack

What are you most proud of?

Teh whole thing. Have never done any of that stuff before.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Just jump right in. If you are a newbie, try to keep your stitching speed slow and concentrate on getting consistent 1/4" seams.

very impressive...I am a long time quilter and I took Jenny's course as well and learned several new tips and techniques to use...love your colors and the DP9 is one of my all time favorite patterns..have been using it for years

I like your choice of colors & this a beautiful quilt-esp for a "first timer!" What state are you from, Loonwatcher? I was born & raised in MN, (now live in OH) & I still love loons, & have a collection of them! :)

This is very impressive for a first quilt! I have been working at quilting for a few years now but am still considering QQ1 & 2 m have hay hold up is that I don't have high speed internet, the prices are affordable now. Your quilt has inspired me to do the research I need to find out details. THANK YOU! Your work is something to be very proud of AND continue! I wanna see more from you! Am following you!

I love this quilt! The design is so nice, the colors just right, the quilting just enhances it. And displaying it lakeside is icing on the quilt so to speak!

Great job! I love Garden Song, and have made several projects from that fabric line. I know you kept adding borders until it was the size you wanted, but how big did the quilt end up being?

Sheila, This is a disappearing 9 patch (D9P) that I learned in Quilting Quickly I. Then I just added coordinating borders until the quilt was the size I wanted.
