What materials did you use? 11 oz dark denim, fabric from JoAnn's. I used an old pair of Lee brand jeans that were falling apart, deconstructed them, and drew a pattern from it.

What are you most proud of? I liked the "X" bartacks.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? watch the whole class first, then sew along with her. The last photo shows an "oops". I folded the zipper side 5/8" instead of 1/4, then had to move the other side over to cover the zipper, which made the zipper off center, and, oh, yeah, now I can't breathe in the pants. If I loose some weight, I'll wear them around the house with a tunic.

Oh I love the pocket detail, it's brilliant
