Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: I loved making this little cake for my son's first day of preschool. I used the techniques from Anne Heap's class for the little boy topper. My little man is holding his favorite lion that he's slept with since he was born:) The cake is iced in swiss meringue buttercream and marshmallow fondant. The chalkboard is fondant (with tylose) as well as the letters/numbers that I made with Tappit cutters. The toppers is made out of fondant (with tylose).
