Materials
Used 100% cotton fabrics, beads, lace, embroidery threads for embelishments and flannel for backing.
What was your inspiration?
A group of ladies that all have one thing in common, and that is to get together just once a month to help each other and share ideas.
What are you most proud of?
I am most proud of the fact that I am 64 years and have not stopped the brain from learning about quilting. I have been for my first beginners basic quilting lesson, and just love it. I should have started 30 years ago.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Just let your ideas flow and put it all down in your quilt. Use any thing of value, eg, your moms old handkerchief, little lace doyles, buttons from your childrens favourite clothing, bits of ribbon, just about anything goes......and most of all, enjoy.
