Do you sell this cake? No, just for fun

Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: This cake was for my sweet niece's 1st birthday. The theme was "Cute as a Button" fun! The color scheme came directly from the invite her mom designed. We pulled some design ideas from Pinterest and I combined & tweaked them to fit my idea. These cakes are covered in buttercream and the buttons are made of modeling chocolate. The elephant was created using fondant w/tylose mixed in. One design element in Millie's nursery is elephants, so I had to give a nod to all the cute pink and grey elephants she has! I used JessiCakes wax paper transfer method for the bottom tier buttons. I designed a template to show exactly where each color button needed to be. I did this using a length only about 1/3 of my cake's total circumference so I could put them up in panels rather than one long strip. It worked perfectly! Since we didn't want fondant, I wanted the buttercream to look perfect. I used the upside down method to frost my tiers and FINALLY, it worked perfectly! I'd had trouble with it before, due to using parchment paper, but the key is wax paper. The tape sticks better to wax paper, as funny as that sounds, so I was finally able to keep it place and work. SO happy :)
