Materials
I used a straw hat, some jute ribbons, buttons, feathers, millinery wire, bias tape and a headband to hold the hat on head.
What was your inspiration?
I'm in love with hats and vintage fashion, especially 50s fashion, so I decided to join both. The inspiration came while I was appearing as the little hat.
What are you most proud of?
The final aspect, I think I managed to build a beautiful hat from recycled materials that already existed in my sewing room, I did not have to buy anything. Zero cost.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
It is an easy project and very grateful if you are in love with this style, you can use the same base and decorate the hat with materials you have around, the possibilities are endless.
