Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Hand Quilting: Heirloom Design & Technique »

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Functional

For: Unisex

Style: Classic

What was your inspiration?

Craftsy course

What are you most proud of?

It looks good.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I used a red thread on off white fabric so that I could see the stitches. It made the stitching easier.

Try the course, "Hand Quilting, Heirloom Design and Technique", the instructor is fantastic and makes it so easy to understand.

I used the coloured thread because I have very bad eye sight and it makes it easier to see my stitches.

this is beautiful. Are you using a hoop?

Thanks, I purchased a hoop, but cannot get my stitches anywhere close to what they are supposed to be. I find it easier without the hoop.

You have moved right along! The motifs on this are quite a bit smaller than the class project. Great job!
