What was your inspiration?
A Canadian granddaughter who fell in love with the American Girl catalog. Summer, a 4 year old, thought every outfit available for the American Girl doll should be on her wanted list. But why spend big bucks when I have a sewing machine and a room full of beautiful fabric.
What are you most proud of?
I loved being able to provide something special for a little girl who fell in love with dolls just the way I did when I was a kid. My mom spent hours creating a wardrobe for my dolls. I was so happy to be able to pass on that memory.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Enjoy yourself, remember your childhood days. My dolls had more clothes than I did.
