Thanks Jean!! I like the point fabric.. kind of clouds meet foamy swirls The flower choice was easy. It was the ONLY whole flower (not covered up by another flower) on the FQ that I could fussy cut.

Love this! These fabrics are great on the black background. Fortunately, I have gotten over Kaffe Fassett envy since I had a little Kaffe Fassett shopping spree but please remind me about not buying fabric until I finish something!

I have not had so much trouble with a block as this one. Yours is great. I had to rip out the seams several times for this block. The Double Star, no problem.

Oh on this one I had the first half square triangles stitched and CUT and realized I had sewn wrong sides together!!! I ripped them out thinking about what she said with the bias edges... so I was pretty careful resewing them the right way. My Double Star is not perfect either. I think I was blurry-eyed when I was cutting them out.
