1-1/4 inch Wide binding

1)Stop sewing 1/4

1)Stop sewing 1/4
3)Fold down have the edge a little over
2)Fold binding up at a 45 degree angle
5)Should be able to fold both ways
4)Sew 1/4 from edge of quilt sides.
6)Fold over and stitch

Instructions

6 inch bias cut binding. Sew it on with 1/4 inch seam. Cut 1-1/4 inch from stitching line. Photos will show how to do corners.

What was your inspiration?

Great fabric that I wanted to showcase without putting on a border.

What are you most proud of?

That it worked. (only had to try 1 time and worked it out from there.)

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Don't be afraid to try new things or change a pattern to suit your needs. Try out ideas on scraps first if needed. Corners aren't perfect, but they are good enough. I have it overlap the ends just a bit to give it a little more flex when turned (lots of fabric in the corners).
