Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: I made this cake for a friend son's birthday. It's gluten free cake made by pecan flour and egg whites.The filling is kind of chocolate buttercream. It's a Bulgarian recipe, created in Bulgaria in 1920's by a Hungarian pastry chef and the cake is named after it's creator-Garash. I covered it with dark ganache and the decoration are made of modeling chocolate by the Jessica Harris' recipe from her class Clean & Simple cake design. The design is also inspired by the ruffle technique Jessica taught in this class, but I made my own template to make the cake look more "manly". I used fondant only to cover the cake board. on

It looks fantastic, you did a great job. Very unisex, like the way you did the inscription and the colour combination.

How did you make the lettering striped?

I used extruder (clay gun) to make the stripes, then I glued them next to each other on a piece of modeling chocolate and then I cut the letters.
