This pattern has NO pattern pieces. You use Kays mathematical formulas and your own measurements to make a dress just for YOU. I just love this idea. This dress is very loose fitting, so its really easy to fit.
Kay has beautiful hand embroidery on her dress. I don't sew anything by hand but I do own a Brother SE400 sewing machine and it does embroidery. But I would think with a little "crafty-ness" someone could do beautiful stitches with a regular machine.
This will be my go to dress after a hard day at work, or when its too hot , or just when I want to be comfy. The linen/rayon fabric is just so soft. I used the quilting fabric at the top and bottom. I thought it looked like Mexican tiles. Kay hand embroidered her bodice. You have to see hers, it truely is a work of art!
