I want to crochet a "leather-'look" headband for my daughter. I was searching for a yarn or cord the is supple enough to crochet when I found your items on craftsy. Can you tell me the specifics, (brand, weight or mm, etc) of the leather cording and waxed cotton cord you use?

Hello, I used 1 mm Indian leather cord. It is soft and easy to crochet, but it is also very gentle material, so you need a good quality crochet hook. The best is from metal, wooden or plastic can have some sharp parts. In case you are not experience crocheter, I suggest to use waxed cord or at least to make a sample form waxed cord. The waxed cord can be used multiple times, but not the leather cord - any rip up will leave some marks. I used Jewellery of Lords Limited cord. I bought it from www.amazon.co.uk. Amzon has also a nice stock of different Waxed Cotton Cords . Guna
