I wear a size 10 woman's shoe. I used the extra large pattern, ended up to be too big, so I turned the slipper inside out and put it on my foot and pinned it closer to my foot and resewed it (photo of slipper inside out with pins). I used a man's wool coat that I purchased at the thrift store.
What was your inspiration?
I've wanted some new slippers for a while. I was super excited to see slippers on the Fab Felt Holiday Crafts class.
What are you most proud of?
I'm just really excited how these turned out. Wearing them right now as I write this ;)
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
The first slipper took me a full morning to make. Once I got it figured out and the fit just right, the other foot took me only about an hour to whip out...or less. Super happy with these. Will never buy slippers again.
