What was your inspiration?
My inspiration was a toilet paper cozy that my mom bought at a thrift store. She brought it home and asked me if I could make one like it, so I looked at what stitches were used and counted how many stitches were used. I decided that it was totally doable and made one the same way the one she brought home was made and realized that it was going to come out a little sloppy looking like the original, so I took out the work I had done to that point and set out to make one that was not sloppy and came up with the pattern you see here.
What are you most proud of?
I am most proud of the fact that I came up with a pattern that looks nice and is not sloppy! : )
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Be creative and HAVE FUN WITH IT!! : ) There are any number of ways to work the ruffle and use the unused front loops of each round. I have come up with several some of which I have not tried yet and several that I have. I hope all that try the pattern enjoy it!!
