What materials did you use? Acrylic yarn worsted wt. Two strands, 5.5 hook, pompom maker, lime yarn, Francine's slipper pattern.

What are you most proud of? I was able to use two colors for the toe. This was very hard. It took effort to count the rows and add the cream yarn at the right time. The back doesn't work as well with two colors. I don't know if I will do this again. IT was just too hard for me. I do like it though as...... it's all good!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Make them a bit smaller than your foot since they stretch when using acrylic yarn. If you make them out of wool you can make them to fit as the wool tends to hold it's shape better than worsted acrylic. The Red Heart yarn from Joann's Craft is extra durable and long wearing but it does stretch out more than worsted wool. I can get three pairs of these slippers out of one super saver skein which costs me $2.99+S&H on-line. I prefer wool though for gifts. Joann's yarn is okay for me.
