What was your inspiration?
My grandmother has been my inspiration for my interest in crocheting although I haven't crocheted in more than 30 years! Since this past November I have made 3 afghans, 1 blanket, 2 shawls, 3 scarfs, and now this baby cardigan. All I want to do is look at different crochet patterns and yarns. My grandmother, who was rarely seen without a crochet hook in her hand, would be so proud of me that I am actually crocheting and finishing each project!
What are you most proud of?
I am really happy I made this sweater. I was intimidated about making clothing and actually putting the pieces together. Linda Permann's "Beyond Rectangles!" online Craftsy course made this a fun, easy project with very clear precise instructions.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Have fun and relax! The hardest part was choosing yarn and putting on buttons!
