Thank you! All of mine are mice, but a bunny would be a very easy modification!

Hi,Larissa. I surely do not want to step on your mouse; ;-) but I have been making these little cuties for years. I usually make bunnies to tuck into their little beds. Funny thing, I've never made the mouse, and he is adorable. I would be happy to send you a copy of the bunny if you like. Happy stitching to you.

As I have grown a little older, I have come to realize that every time I have a great, unique idea there is someone somewhere else with the same great idea. So, BRAVO to both Larissa and Whitegirl for having such creative minds. This is A-DORABLE. Cant wait to make a few up. I knew there was a reason to save all those Altoid tins :-)

I had fun making this. I had problems sewing on the ears on the little bear so I have an earless bear but he is cute anyway. I usually sew big things so this was fun.

Aw, thanks so much, Kathy Wood! Kris, sorry for the trouble with the ears! Can I offer any tips for that?

I made two of these; one for my daughter's ring bearer and one for her flower girl. They loved them. (WHY did I decide to do these the week before the wedding, I'll never know, but I just could not resist!...) Maybe it was just me, but I had trouble putting my needle through the glued 'crimped' ears. Next time I think I'll just sew a tuck in the ears. I used boy colors for him and princess-y glitzy felt for her. Lots of fun, great idea! The instructions were very clear and the pattern was well worth purchasing.

DecoPro, you could definitely do that instead! Thanks! I hope the ring bearer and flower girl enjoyed their mouses! :-)

Love them, but since hinged tin boxes are scarce I wondered about using hinged soap dishes or glasses cases. I also thought of painting a window frame and hang net curtains inside the lid with a moon and /or stars in the sky.

Look for Altoids mints. I think that is what she used. I save them and there is always another cute idea. I want to make these for my neighbor girl. I think it would quiet little thing that she could play with in church.

stichwishes, those ideas sound great. Yes, my pattern uses empty altoids tins but any similar hinged little box would work if you resized things to fit.

KUJayhawker, yes, makes a great quiet toy for church! Give the mouse a tiny Bible?
