Basic Skills Necessary:

  • use a sewing machine
  • use a needle and thread

Pattern Description:

Meet Oxford Owl. He's a plush little mate who is simple to make is great gift. I was inspired to created him for my friend who just had baby boy #3 and has done her crib all up in grays and creams, I think Oxford will fit right in.

Oxford would also look terrific in any monochromatic scheme

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • approx. 12" tall x 8" wide, not including wings

Materials:

  • 1 fat quarter quilters cotton for back
  • 1 fat quarter quilters cotton for face and bod
  • 1/3 yd fleece interfacing
  • 1, 12"x6" felt
  • 1/4 yd various cotton fabric scrap for wings, feathers, and a light solid for the eyes

You Will Also Need:

  • sewing machine
  • coordinating thread
  • scissors
  • pinking sheers
  • embroidery needle
  • embroidery floss in coordinating color for the eyes
